Alex Wilson-Thame

Alex started his sonic adventures from a very young age progressing the journey of classical music education in both guitar and piano. This evolved into playing some of the UK’s biggest stages in his late teens/early 20s whilst obtaining his Degree in Audio Engineering. After a wild yet brief tenure as a session musician, Alex began his post production journey 15 years ago on the production team of Jungle Studios. Alex’s technical natural ability twinned with his effervescence with clients was duly noted and was given a shot as engineer at the tender age of 23. The rest is history. After over a decade at Jungle and a few years at Creative Outpost; Alex has worked on a myriad of award-winning advertising campaigns, as well as academy awarded films and series. His versatility in the studio knows no bounds, as a talented sound designer with granular attention to detail he can conjure up the most weird and wonderful sounds, if you need music composition whether it be hard hitting Berlin ‘4am’ Techo, or symphonic orchestration, he’s got you too. If you need demonic voices, alien-like murmurings, or a calm yet engaging voice-over - you ain’t seen nothing yet! But moreover if you want the most collaborative energetic audio session - he’s your guy! An over achiever of sorts, if he is not creating ‘Thwacks’, ‘Braams’, ‘Booms’ and ‘Pew-Pews’ in the studio you can find Alex up at 5am everyday, possibly injuring himself doing Crossfit, on the tennis courts firing off blistering aces, self building his own loft conversion, off on an adventure on his road bike, or sat ‘noodling’ on the guitar or piano.
